Senior Tax Analyst - Tax Operations

Twitch is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its dynamic Tax Team, contributing to the company's global tax operations and compliance efforts. This role offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, supporting Twitch's mission to empower live communities worldwide.

The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for managing the Vertex tax engine, performing data analysis, compiling data for global information reporting and tax compliance, and supporting automation initiatives. Key duties include maintaining and configuring Vertex, preparing Forms 1099 and 1042-S, reconciling transaction reports, and responding to tax inquiries from various stakeholders.

Candidates should possess a BA/BS degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field, along with at least four years of tax experience in a Big 4 firm or the tech industry. Proficiency in Vertex, Alteryx, and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is essential. Strong skills in Microsoft Suite, Google Workspace, and tax research tools like CCH, RIA, and BNA are also required.

The position offers a competitive base salary, with ranges varying by location: $82,700 - $112,300 in Seattle, WA, and $72,600 - $123,500 in San Francisco, CA. Additional compensation includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
