Octus, a leading global provider of credit intelligence, data, and analytics, is seeking a Senior SRT Reporter to enhance its coverage of the significant risk transfer (SRT) market. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a pioneering coverage model within a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to delivering timely and insightful financial news and analysis.

The Senior SRT Reporter will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key SRT asset managers, arrangers, and investors. Key duties include building out Octus' coverage of SRT formations, transactions, and trends, as well as identifying and reporting on developments in SRTs, collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), leveraged finance, and private credit. Collaboration with financial and legal analysts, along with other reporters across multiple sectors, is essential to provide comprehensive and accurate reporting.

Candidates should have a basic understanding of and experience writing about debt capital markets, with knowledge of structured finance being advantageous. A strong interest in credit, structured and private credit, and their intersection with private equity and limited partner formation is important. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivation, the ability to multitask, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced newsroom environment. Proficiency in writing clearly and concisely under deadline pressure, as well as the ability to derive trends from issuance, pricing, and other market patterns, is crucial. A passion for obtaining exclusive information through outreach and cultivation of sources among sophisticated market participants is highly valued. The candidate must be collaborative and enjoy working in a multicultural team environment.
