The Senior Solution Architect - Professional Services at Klaviyo plays a pivotal role in driving the success of enterprise customers by leading strategic technical engagements. This position involves end-to-end ownership of customer projects, from initial scoping with Sales to ensuring successful implementation and long-term adoption in collaboration with Customer Success and Partner teams. As a senior individual contributor, the role requires navigating complex scenarios, influencing executive stakeholders, and delivering measurable outcomes for enterprise accounts.
Key responsibilities include defining Statements of Work (SOWs) that clearly outline scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, and success metrics for complex technical engagements. The architect will lead consultative discussions to clarify business objectives, identify risks, and translate desired outcomes into actionable technical implementation plans. Additionally, the role involves serving as the owner for critical technical phases of the customer journey, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with agreed outcomes. Building strong stakeholder relationships and effectively communicating with both internal and external parties to maintain project momentum is essential.
The ideal candidate possesses over four years of experience in SaaS Professional Services, implementation, solution consulting, or similar customer-facing technical roles, with a proven track record of leading enterprise-level projects. They should have hands-on experience with modern web development languages and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general-purpose programming languages like Node or Python. A strong understanding of the martech landscape, including Email, SMS/Mobile, and leveraging a Customer Data Platform (CDP) for advanced use cases, is crucial. Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, and integrating SaaS platforms into complex enterprise tech stacks is also required.
Klaviyo offers a competitive base salary for this position, with the range varying based on geographic location. In the United States, the base pay ranges from $112,000 to $168,000 annually. In the United Kingdom, the base pay ranges from £73,600 to £110,400 annually. The total compensation package may also include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility.
