Senior Software Engineer, Platform

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Platform Team at Headout, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud-based Kubernetes clusters, building reusable CI/CD workflows, and implementing canary releases. Your role will also involve designing service-level dashboards, fine-tuning alerts, and managing incidents across the organization. Additionally, you will work on enhancing application performance by optimizing backend systems, improving database efficiency, and addressing bottlenecks. You will contribute to the development of scalable and efficient platform tools for cross-team use cases and improve developer velocity by building tools and workflows that enhance efficiency across engineering teams. Security responsibilities include establishing guardrails on security practices and standardizing them. You will also mentor junior engineers, drive root cause analyses, and promote best practices across the organization.
