Business Development Manager, China

As a Business Development Manager for China at Headout, you will be instrumental in driving the company's commercial success and market expansion within the region. Reporting to the Regional General Manager for APAC and MENA, you will collaborate closely with supply partners and travel experience providers to enhance relationships, broaden our offerings, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and onboarding new supply partners and distribution-side partnerships in China, launching new cities, and continuously nurturing existing relationships to foster additional growth. You will also liaise between internal stakeholders—such as Operations, Tech, and Marketing—and your accounts to ensure smooth execution of partnerships and growth in bookings. Additionally, you will analyze market trends and provide market and competitor analysis to optimize business strategies.

The ideal candidate will possess fluency in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. A minimum of four years of experience in business development, preferably within consumer tech startups, is required. Strong analytical abilities, a global mindset, and comfort working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds and time zones are essential. A start-up attitude—highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to roll up your sleeves—is also crucial. Experience working with a CRM and a readiness to learn and use new tools are expected. Candidates may be based in Shanghai.
