Senior Software Engineer, Internationalisation Platform
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Internationalisation Platform team at Klaviyo, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company's global reach by developing and refining internationalisation features. This team is responsible for managing translations, delivering new localisation capabilities, handling multiple currencies, and improving internationalisation processes to better serve Klaviyo's diverse customer base.
In this role, you will lead the design and execution of complex, business-critical projects across the Internationalisation platform. Your responsibilities will include implementing new functionality, establishing design patterns for multi-component systems, and taking full lifecycle ownership of features and projects. Collaboration with cross-functional partners to influence product requirements and communicate technical needs to other teams is also a key aspect of this position.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in internationalisation, localisation, and translation, along with a desire to serve international customers and expand Klaviyo’s capabilities. A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering high-quality, customer-facing software is required. Deep understanding of complex systems, familiarity with full stack development concepts, experience with both monolithic and microservices architectures, and proficiency in database design capable of withstanding high query volumes are essential. Additionally, experience debugging performance issues and improving application performance is highly valued.
Klaviyo offers a competitive salary range of £84,000 to £126,000 annually, along with an equity package and comprehensive health benefits.
