Senior Site Reliability Engineer, IMF
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will join Bloomreach's Analytics team to manage and maintain the in-memory database (IMF) and related services. The SRE will ensure the high availability and performance of systems running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes, integrating with technologies like Kafka and MongoDB.
Key responsibilities include managing and configuring Kubernetes components to ensure reliability and performance, handling incident responses with root cause analysis, and participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation. The role also involves developing automation tools using Python and Go to streamline operations, monitoring system performance for scaling, and setting up systems for early issue detection. Additionally, the SRE will ensure reliable database backups and collaborate with engineers and product managers for successful project delivery.
Candidates should have experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, a solid understanding of DevOps principles, and familiarity with cloud platforms, especially GCP. Proficiency in Kubernetes and experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab or similar platforms are essential. Strong skills in automating tasks using Python, Go, or Shell scripting, along with incident management experience, are required. Knowledge of monitoring tools like VictoriaMetrics and Grafana, as well as logging tools, is also important.
The position offers a salary starting from 4,200 EUR gross per month, depending on seniority.
