Senior Product Designer, Restaurant Platform
OpenTable is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of core experiences for restaurants, partners, and internal teams. This role focuses on areas such as onboarding, reporting, security, APIs, and partner tools, aiming to enhance restaurant productivity and user engagement. The successful candidate will collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that balance customer needs with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include designing intuitive user interfaces for restaurant partners, conducting user research with restaurant owners and staff to inform design decisions, and facilitating workshops with cross-functional teams. The role also involves leading end-to-end design processes, from concept development to high-fidelity prototyping, ensuring that designs effectively address user pain points and business goals.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in product design, particularly in B2B environments or complex workflows. Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools is essential, along with strong visual and interaction design skills. Experience in user research, workshop facilitation, and the ability to manage time effectively are also required. A strong curiosity and willingness to learn, as well as excellent communication skills, are highly valued.
