Senior Product Designer (Hospitality)
OpenTable is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our Hospitality team, focusing on enhancing the ways restaurateurs interact with their guests. As part of a global leader in restaurant technology, you'll contribute to developing tools that help restaurants engage guests through tailored communications, balancing customer needs with business objectives. In this position, you will lead initiatives that provide restaurateurs with innovative methods to connect with guests. Your responsibilities include designing product concepts that align customer needs with business goals, building tools for tailored guest communications, and becoming an expert in restaurant operator workflows through direct research with owners and staff. Collaboration with product designers, managers, and engineers is essential to deliver experiences that enhance hospitality services.
The ideal candidate has experience designing for enterprise or complex systems, collaborating with product managers and engineers in agile environments, and conducting user interviews and usability testing. Strong visual design skills, proficiency in Figma and other prototyping tools, and the ability to articulate design decisions effectively are also required. A curiosity to learn from others and an appreciation for feedback from stakeholders and peers are highly valued.
