Senior Manager, Site Reliability Engineering
Tubi is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead and expand its Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role involves overseeing the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of Tubi's large-scale, distributed systems. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence within the engineering organization.
Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of Site Reliability Engineers, establishing sustainable on-call practices, and defining team rituals such as runbook reviews and incident retrospectives. The role also involves strategic planning to align the SRE roadmap with business objectives, championing a data-driven approach to reliability, and managing the end-to-end availability and performance of critical user-facing services. Additionally, the manager will oversee the SRE budget, manage vendor relationships, and drive the adoption of SRE best practices across the organization.
Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience in a technical field, with a minimum of 3 years in an engineering leadership position managing SRE, DevOps, or Production Engineering teams. A deep understanding of SRE principles, including Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), error budgets, and capacity planning, is essential. Strong technical expertise in AWS services, Kubernetes, and modern SRE tools and technologies is also required.
The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $227,200 to $324,500, depending on education, skills, experience, and location.
