Tubi is seeking a Director, Associate General Counsel to join its expanding legal team. This role involves structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS agreements, platform distribution agreements, and co-marketing agreements, in support of Tubi’s business development team. The position reports to the Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Distribution, International, and Technology.

Key responsibilities include providing contractual and strategic guidance to internal clients, identifying practical business solutions to drive contracts to closure while balancing business objectives and risk mitigation. The role also involves establishing best practices and templates for general commercial matters, developing and implementing process-related tasks to enhance team efficiencies, assisting other legal team members with overflow work, and staying updated on relevant consumer protection, data use, privacy, and data security laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of relevant legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house at entertainment, media, or technology companies. Experience with advertising sales and ad technology, technology licensing (e.g., SaaS), complex commercial transactions (e.g., joint ventures), and digital media/platform distribution agreements for DTC applications is preferred. Strong negotiation and drafting skills, excellent communication abilities, and a JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school with admission to at least one state bar are required.

Compensation for this role ranges from $212,000 to $295,000 annually, depending on education, skills, experience, and location. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, long-term incentive plan, and various benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
