The (Senior) Group Strategy & M&A Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting Scout24's senior leadership with high-impact mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and strategic initiatives. This position is integral to strengthening Scout24's position as a leading European digital platform company. The role is based in Berlin and offers the flexibility of full-time or part-time engagement.

Key responsibilities include managing the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, from initial screening and target outreach through to signing and closing. The manager will analyze business cases, financial statements, and key performance indicators to assess target attractiveness and identify value drivers and risks. Additionally, the role involves driving due diligence processes, evaluating business plans, developing financial models, and creating decision documents for the Executive Board. The manager will also support processes and frameworks for minority investments and collaborations, conduct market and competitive intelligence research, and collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Finance, Legal, Product, Tech, and business units throughout deal processes.

Candidates should possess a completed university degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with 3-4+ years of relevant work experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Advisory, or Management Consulting with exposure to M&A and strategic projects. Proven experience in managing corporate development or strategic projects is essential. Strong financial modeling skills, a solid command of financial statement analysis, and excellent PowerPoint skills are required. Structured problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a genuine interest in digital business models and the real estate/PropTech sector are also important. Fluency in English and German is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
