As an Accountant Accounts Receivable (m/w/d) at Scout24, you will be an integral part of our finance team, responsible for managing the entire accounts receivable process. Your role ensures accurate recording of incoming payments and efficient handling of dunning procedures. With your structured approach and numerical proficiency, you contribute significantly to the stability and growth of our company.
Your key responsibilities include supporting the accounts receivable accounting, including posting incoming payments and executing debtor payment runs. You will oversee receivables management, handle out-of-court dunning procedures, and resolve outstanding items. Ensuring the VAT compliance of business transactions is also part of your duties. Additionally, you will address customer inquiries and complaints in a solution-oriented and service-minded manner, create and maintain process documentation to ensure transparency and traceability, collaborate closely with other departments to continuously improve processes, and support projects aimed at developing and optimizing accounts receivable processes.
We are looking for candidates with solid experience in accounts receivable accounting and a good understanding of tax-related matters. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Zuora) and MS Office is essential. A structured, meticulous, and independent working style with a strong affinity for numbers is required. Analytical thinking skills and the ability to maintain an overview in dynamic situations are important. Strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork are also valued. Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken, are necessary. Experience in effectively using AI tools to enhance productivity and problem-solving is advantageous.
