Senior Go Software Engineer
Array is seeking a Senior Go Software Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As a financial innovation platform, Array empowers digital brands, financial institutions, and fintechs to deliver compelling consumer products swiftly. In this position, you will collaborate with a squad of engineers to develop secure, high-scale cloud applications using Go, Node.js, and other modern languages. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions. Additionally, you will participate in an on-call rotation to ensure the reliability and availability of the systems you build, leveraging modern tooling and AI to enhance development efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have over six years of professional software development experience in Go, C#, or Java, particularly in fast-paced environments such as startups. Experience in building and scaling revenue-generating products is essential. Proficiency in running production applications in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with a solid understanding of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, is required. Familiarity with relational and document databases such as Postgres, SQL Server, and MongoDB is also expected.
This role begins as a contract position for a 180-day probationary period, with an hourly rate between $80 and $100. Upon successful completion, there is potential for conversion to a full-time role.
