Senior Fullstack Engineer - Data Enrichment
Wayve is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to lead the development of an internal web application designed for computer vision model exploration and data labeling. This role is pivotal within the Corpus & Enrichment team, aiming to create a centralized platform that enables teams to browse models, run them on data subsets, and analyze results efficiently. As the first dedicated Fullstack Engineer in this domain, you will set the standard for scalable and maintainable UI engineering practices that accelerate model development and data labeling workflows across the organization.
In this position, you will collaborate directly with internal stakeholders to define user workflows, user experience, and requirements for the Enrichment Shop. Your responsibilities include building, shipping, and iterating the product end-to-end using React and TypeScript, integrating the frontend with existing systems and APIs, including Databricks-backed workflows and internal services. You will also incorporate user feedback into delivery planning and help define lightweight expectations and service level agreements for the internal tool. Ensuring long-term maintainability by writing clear, testable code and enabling others to contribute and support the system is a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have strong JavaScript and TypeScript experience, with React as the preferred frontend framework. A proven track record of delivering full web applications, ideally owning work end-to-end in production, is essential. Experience integrating with existing backend systems and APIs, and working effectively in an established codebase, is required. The ability to operate independently, partner directly with internal stakeholders, and build pragmatic, maintainable, and testable solutions is crucial.
