Senior Full Stack Engineer
ShopMy is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with fellow engineers to design and implement APIs using Node.js, build and maintain user interfaces with React and Redux, and develop and optimize data pipelines and internal tools. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring platform performance, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Key responsibilities include deploying production-ready applications on AWS using containerization, ALB, and ECS, monitoring system performance, and proactively implementing improvements. You will also be expected to maintain high standards for code quality, structure, and best practices, while solving complex technical challenges with clean, efficient, and scalable code.
The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in React, Node.js, and relational databases, along with a deep understanding of JavaScript language nuances and best practices. Intermediate knowledge of UI design, including SCSS and animations, is also required. Experience deploying production-ready projects on AWS, including containerization, ALB, and ECS, as well as familiarity with logging and alerting using CloudWatch or alternative monitoring technologies, is essential. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, along with 5+ years of experience with JavaScript-based front-end languages, 3+ years of experience with React and Redux, and 3+ years of experience developing APIs in Node.js, are required.
Compensation for this role ranges between $145,000 and $225,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
