The Senior Director, Marketing at Klaviyo will lead strategic marketing efforts in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer in the US and collaborating closely with the Vice President & Managing Director APAC. This role is pivotal in shaping Klaviyo's brand presence and driving growth across the region, leveraging extensive experience and strategic acumen to support the company's rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing high-impact regional marketing strategies that influence demand generation, revenue pipeline, brand awareness, and customer marketing. The role involves crafting comprehensive annual marketing plans with budget management, leading a dynamic team of regional marketers specializing in event, content, and partner marketing, and collaborating closely with APAC Sales leadership to identify strategic levers for robust pipeline growth. Additionally, the Senior Director will oversee the development of regionally relevant marketing materials, execute impactful events and webinars, and direct customer marketing initiatives to drive expansion and retention.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in B2B marketing within scaled or scaling SaaS companies, with a proven ability to drive lead generation and customer expansion at scale in B2B SaaS products within the APAC region, including Japan. A strong track record of growing, leading, and developing high-performance marketing teams is essential. The candidate should be adept at utilizing data and insights to craft comprehensive stories relevant to targeted customer segments, with a focus on a full-funnel approach throughout the customer journey. Experience in managing cross-functional relationships in a complex matrix environment and a successful history of expanding into new countries or territories are also required.

Klaviyo offers a competitive salary range for this position, reflecting the cost of labor across various U.S. geographic markets. The base salary offered is determined by factors such as the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.
