Senior Data Engineer
Recharge is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join its centralized Data and Analytics team, which delivers critical analytic capabilities and insights for the company's business and customers. Recharge is a subscription platform that partners with over 20,000 brands globally, including quip, Dr. Squatch, Blueland, Estrid, Oats Overnight, and Bobbie, to help them set up, manage, and grow their subscription businesses.
In this role, the Senior Data Engineer will build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power internal business analytics and customer-facing data products. Responsibilities include creating automated monitoring, auditing, and alerting processes to ensure data quality and consistency, working with business and application teams to implement data strategies, and developing data models. The engineer will also design, develop, implement, and optimize existing ETL processes that merge data from disparate sources for consumption by data analysts, business owners, and customers.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a data engineering-related role, with a track record of building scalable data pipelines, transformation, and platform solutions. They should have hands-on experience designing and building data pipelines and models to ingest, transform, and deliver large amounts of data from multiple sources into a Dimensional Data Warehouse or Data Lake. Proficiency with data warehouse and data lake platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, RDS, AWS, and GCP is required. Experience with ETL tools like FiveTran, dbt, and Python, as well as workflow orchestration management engines such as Airflow and Cloud Composer, is also necessary. Expert proficiency in SQL and strong Python skills are essential.
Recharge offers a competitive compensation package, with a hiring range in the US of $148,000 to $185,000 USD and in Canada of $108,000 to $136,000 CAD.
