Senior Data Engineer
Jusbrasil is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to transforming the justice system through technology. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain large-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines, both batch and streaming, ensuring scalability, governance, and performance. Collaborating closely with Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Data Analysts, and Product teams, you will transform raw data into reliable, consistent, and high-value analytical assets that support data-driven products and decisions.
Key responsibilities include implementing and evolving data architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Composer. You will ensure data quality, reliability, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle by establishing testing, versioning, and monitoring practices. Additionally, you will contribute to the advancement of data engineering best practices and the internal standardization of models, nomenclatures, and monitoring processes.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Python and SQL, and preferably Java or Scala. Proficiency with orchestration and replication frameworks like Airflow or Airbyte is essential, along with knowledge of data modeling and design best practices such as Kimball, Data Vault, or Medallion. Experience with GCP services, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines is required. A product-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams are crucial for success in this role.
