Senior Data Engineer [Vaga Afirmativa para PCD]
Jusbrasil is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team dedicated to building and evolving data pipelines and architectures that support our data-driven products and decisions. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data systems to ensure scalability, governance, and performance. The focus is on transforming raw data into reliable, consistent, and high-value analytical assets throughout the data lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining large-scale data ingestion and transformation pipelines for both batch and streaming processes. The role also involves ensuring data quality, reliability, and integrity through testing, versioning, and monitoring. Implementing and evolving data architecture on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Composer is essential. Collaboration with Analytics, Product, and Engineering teams to define data needs and translate business requirements into technical solutions is a critical aspect of the position. Additionally, the role includes contributing to the evolution of data engineering best practices and internal standardization of models, nomenclatures, and monitoring.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience with Python and SQL, with a preference for additional experience in Java or Scala. Proficiency with orchestration and replication frameworks such as Airflow or Airbyte is required. A strong understanding of data modeling and design best practices, including methodologies like Kimball, Data Vault, and Medallion, is essential. Experience with GCP services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Composer, and IAM, is necessary. Familiarity with streaming technologies like Kafka, Dataflow, or Beam is considered a plus. Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines is also important. A product-oriented mindset and the ability to collaborate across disciplines are key attributes for success in this role.
