Senior Compensation Analyst
AppLovin is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to lead data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves developing and maintaining advanced Google Sheets dashboards and models for workforce metrics, compensation benchmarking, and headcount planning. The analyst will drive the annual compensation review process, including salary planning, bonus design, and equity refresh cycles, while acting as a strategic partner to HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and leadership to align compensation strategies with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include leading the design and maintenance of advanced Google Sheets dashboards for workforce metrics, conducting complex analyses on global compensation structures and pay equity, and driving the annual compensation review process. The analyst will also translate complex data into clear, compelling executive-level insights and recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in data analysis, particularly in HR, People Analytics, or Compensation. Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets, including advanced modeling and complex formulas, is essential. A deep understanding of compensation principles, such as market pricing, job leveling, and equity programs, is required. Strong data visualization, storytelling, and executive communication skills are also necessary.
AppLovin offers a competitive total compensation package, including equity eligibility, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, unlimited discretionary time off, and 10 paid holidays per year. The base pay range for this position in California is $103,000 to $155,000 USD, with total compensation based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
