Senior Communications Strategist (Mensch)
As a Senior Communications Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic management of a wellbeing client at WPP Media. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, bringing together media, data, and partnerships to deliver creative personalization at scale. Connected through WPP Open and powered by Open Intelligence, clients see exactly where, how, and why their media investment is working.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing integrated communication and media strategies, analyzing target audiences and market trends, and translating these insights into clear strategic recommendations. You will define cross-channel media strategies along the customer journey and collaborate closely with planning teams to develop data-driven media plans. Additionally, you will work with creative, data, account, and planning teams to create comprehensive communication solutions and utilize data-driven tools and AI-based approaches to enhance strategic processes. Supporting strategic pitches and developing compelling narratives for presentations will also be part of your role.
The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in a media, communications, or strategy agency, or in strategic marketing. A strong interest in wellbeing, self-care, and female health is essential. You should possess the ability to translate data, market analyses, and consumer insights into clear strategic recommendations. A solid understanding of both traditional and digital media channels and their roles along the customer journey is required. Strong analytical skills, structured and data-driven working methods, and the ability to present strategic ideas convincingly in both German and English are also necessary.
