Category Planner
The Category Planner role at WPP Media is integral to the Openmind team, an integrated agency model designed to accelerate Nestlé’s media transformation across Europe. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic planning of multichannel campaigns for Nestlé's Food & Confectionery sector, leveraging WPP’s advanced data and technology capabilities to maximize media investment impact.
Key responsibilities include supporting Strategy Leads in developing media strategies, campaign toolkits, and best practices. This involves defining and analyzing target audiences, comparing media landscapes across countries, gathering information from local markets, and liaising with publishers and platforms. Additionally, the role entails creating production plans, generating insights, and preparing presentations to effectively communicate strategies.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of various media channels and their effective application, along with proficiency in media KPIs and data analysis. Experience with WPP Media tools such as Architect, The Hub, Audience Translator, and Audience Origin ADB is advantageous, as is familiarity with industry tools like WARC, Mintel, and TGI. Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
