Seeking Paralegal New Grads!

Morgan & Morgan is seeking a dedicated Litigation Assistant to join our team in Columbus, Georgia. As a Litigation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys and paralegals in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic legal environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative and legal support tasks. Key responsibilities include scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, and managing logistics. Additionally, you will collect, examine, and organize evidence and legal documents for attorney review, draft and proofread correspondence and legal documents, and communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree preferred. While prior experience as an administrative assistant in a law firm or corporate legal department is advantageous, we welcome applications from motivated new graduates eager to learn. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is also required.
