Sales Engineer, Enterprise Intelligence
AlphaSense is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our Application Specialist team, focusing on our Enterprise Intelligence (EI) solution. This role involves supporting the sales team in pre-sales positioning, trial support, information security reviews, and managing large technical implementations. As part of a team central to determining product-market fit and supporting organizational training, you will play a key role in expanding our EI offering to new client segments.
In this position, you will develop a deep understanding of clients' strategic business and technical objectives, aligning AlphaSense's capabilities to drive organizational impact. Responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects, leading technical evaluations through compelling product demonstrations, and driving customer adoption by identifying new applications for our EI solution across diverse industries. Collaboration with engineering teams to ensure seamless post-sale support and product optimization is also essential.
The ideal candidate possesses an entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving customer adoption and contributing to strategic product direction. A minimum of 5 years of pre-sales experience with complex, technical products, preferably within a SaaS or AI-driven solution environment, is required. Additionally, 10+ years of customer-facing experience for a SaaS solution, exceptional presentation skills, and technical proficiency in software development (e.g., Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP) and web development (e.g., JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Vue.js, Angular) are essential. Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs and knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure are also important.
The base compensation range for this role is $100,000 to $125,000 USD annually. Additional compensation may include a performance-based bonus, equity, and a generous benefits program.
