Sales Development Representative - German Speaking
OpenTable is seeking a German-speaking Sales Development Representative to join our Restaurant Sales & Services team in London. This role focuses on enhancing restaurants' revenue potential through our leading front-of-house management and online reservation technology. As part of a dedicated and passionate sales team, you will contribute to the success of our restaurant partners and the satisfaction of our dining customers.
In this position, you will generate sales leads by assisting with phone-based prospecting to schedule appointments for Account Executives in your region. You will implement lead generation programs developed by the Restaurant Marketing team and craft targeted sales messages for restaurant prospects through traditional mailings and email marketing. Additionally, you will provide general sales support, ensuring successful lead hand-offs to Account Executives and responding to requests for additional product information. Some travel is required for training, market research, sales initiatives, and attending regional trade shows.
The ideal candidate is fluent in German at a native level, with Italian language skills being highly desirable but not essential. A successful track record in telesales or call-center roles, with a history of exceeding objectives, is required. You should be customer-focused, capable of building trust and confidence with clients, and adept at resolving current and future business needs. A collaborative attitude, creativity, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential qualities for this role.
