Product Manager, WhatsApp
Klaviyo is seeking a Product Manager to lead the expansion and adoption of its WhatsApp channel, a key component of the company's international growth strategy. The WhatsApp Expansion team focuses on enhancing user engagement and improving conversion funnels in mobile-first markets. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, design, data, and go-to-market teams to refine the mobile engagement platform and elevate the customer experience.
The Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a roadmap aimed at increasing WhatsApp adoption. Key tasks include identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the user journey, from account setup to campaign execution, and conducting rapid, data-driven experiments to boost activation and engagement. The role also entails defining success metrics related to adoption, engagement, deliverability, and system reliability, as well as ensuring seamless integration of WhatsApp within Klaviyo's omnichannel offerings.
Candidates should have 4–6 years of product management experience, preferably in messaging, growth, or platform products. Proficiency in product-led growth experimentation, data analysis, and customer insight application is essential. Experience with WhatsApp or conversational messaging products is highly desirable, along with familiarity with Meta's platform ecosystem. Experience in international markets, particularly in Latin America or Asia-Pacific, and proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese are advantageous.
