The Process Excellence Manager at Wayve will join the Systems & Insights team to design and scale operational systems for global Fleet Operations. This role is pivotal in transforming the company from an R&D-focused operation to a world-class, delivery-grade autonomous vehicle test organization. Wayve, founded in 2017, is a leader in Embodied AI technology, developing advanced AI software and foundation models that enable vehicles to perceive, understand, and navigate complex environments.

Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end analysis and documentation of core Fleet Operations workflows, driving structured improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and collaborating with regional teams to standardize operations and eliminate non-value-adding activities. The role also involves defining and implementing SLAs, SOPs, escalation procedures, and RACI/decision matrices, as well as introducing KPIs and dashboards to track process performance. Additionally, the manager will partner with software, data, and infrastructure teams to support automation of repetitive tasks and serve as a strategic advisor to operations leadership on growth and scalability challenges.

Candidates should have over five years of experience in process improvement or operational excellence roles within high-complexity environments such as technology, logistics, robotics, manufacturing, or mobility. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent experience is essential. Proficiency in workflow mapping, process documentation (BPMN), and standardization is required, along with strong facilitation skills for leading workshops and interviews with technical and frontline stakeholders. The role demands expertise in SQL and data analysis, familiarity with incident management and risk/control frameworks, and the ability to influence across teams and functions, including remote and global stakeholders. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills are also necessary.

Wayve offers a hybrid working policy that combines time in the Sunnyvale office with remote work, providing flexibility to fuel innovation, culture, relationships, and learning. The company operates core working hours, allowing employees to determine schedules that work best for them and their teams. Wayve values diversity, embraces new perspectives, and fosters an inclusive work environment where contributions matter.
