Pre-Sales Consultant, Financial Services ( German Speaking)
AlphaSense is seeking a German-speaking Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Financial Services team in London. This role involves collaborating with Account Executives to demonstrate the value of our AI-driven market intelligence platform to prospective clients, thereby driving new revenue. The Pre-Sales Consultant will engage with decision-makers in sectors such as Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, and Hedge Funds to uncover use cases, conduct tailored demonstrations, and guide prospects toward successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include partnering with go-to-market teams to drive commercial outcomes, conducting targeted discovery into clients' unique research workflows and pain points, and building and curating financial services use cases. The role also involves forging and maintaining strong client relationships by engaging directly with investment professionals to understand their most pressing challenges. Additionally, the Pre-Sales Consultant will contribute to product development by translating client feedback and proactively sharing product and content improvement requests internally.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial services role or in a fintech/SaaS organization supporting financial services clients, with exposure to workflows in areas such as Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, or Hedge Funds. Business proficiency in both German and English is required. A demonstrated interest in the transformative potential of AI for the financial sector, strong presentation skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels are essential. The candidate should also possess a consultative approach, a high-impact ownership mindset, and the ability to work cross-functionally to distill client feedback to various teams.
