Pre-Sales Consultant, Financial Services
AlphaSense is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Customer Success organization, focusing on the Financial Services sector. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Account Executives to demonstrate the value of our AI-driven market intelligence platform to prospective clients. As a key member of the pre-sales team, you will engage with decision-makers and users within financial institutions to understand their unique research workflows and challenges.
Your primary responsibilities will include conducting targeted discovery sessions to uncover client-specific use cases, delivering tailored product demonstrations, and guiding prospects through seamless product evaluations to drive new business revenue growth. Additionally, you will build and curate financial services use cases, continuously seeking out and developing new applications of AlphaSense's capabilities as they evolve. Maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to product development by translating client feedback into actionable insights are also key aspects of this role.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a financial services role or in a fintech/SaaS organization supporting financial services clients. Exposure to workflows in areas such as Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Equity/VC, or Hedge Funds is essential. A demonstrated interest in the transformative potential of AI for the financial sector, strong presentation skills, and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels are crucial. An exceptional ability to work autonomously, tackle client questions with enthusiasm, and drive workflow transformation at major financial firms is highly valued.

The base compensation range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 USD, with potential for performance-based bonuses and equity.
