Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a qualified PIP Litigation Assistant to join their team in Detroit, Michigan. This role involves managing the firm's day-to-day operations, providing administrative support, and assisting the legal team in handling Personal Injury Protection (PIP) cases.

The PIP Litigation Assistant will perform administrative duties such as scheduling hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics. Responsibilities include maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, organizing exhibits and legal documents, and implementing efficient administrative processes. The assistant will also collect and organize evidence for attorney review, draft and proofread legal documents, research regulations and laws, manage client billing, and communicate with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings and depositions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for those holding an associate's degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree. A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal is required, preferably within a law firm or corporate legal department. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or related practice areas is preferred. Applicants must be highly organized, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and a typing speed of at least 35 words per minute are also required.
