Cognism is seeking a People Business Partner to join our Research and Development (R&D) team, encompassing Engineering, Product, Data, and Information Security. This strategic role is pivotal in aligning our people strategy with the R&D roadmap, organizational design, and delivery priorities. As a trusted advisor to senior technical leaders, you will drive a high-performance culture and support scalable growth within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will build trusted relationships with R&D leaders to understand organizational needs and team dynamics, providing proactive, commercially grounded people guidance. Key responsibilities include designing and implementing structures, workforce plans, and people initiatives aligned with business strategy and technical objectives. You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract and hire high-caliber global technical talent, ensuring hiring plans address capability gaps and support scalable growth. Additionally, you will lead robust performance management processes, provide expert coaching to technical leaders, and drive complex change initiatives to support a high-performing and inclusive R&D function.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience supporting R&D or technical functions within fast-paced, high-growth, or scaling environments. Demonstrated success in shaping and executing initiatives across organizational design, performance management, and leadership coaching is essential. A strong analytical capability with the ability to diagnose root causes, translate insights into strategic action, and influence leadership decisions is required. Working knowledge of global employment law and regulatory considerations, along with experience operating within global, matrixed organizations, is also necessary.
