Operations Associate (Covenants)
The Operations Associate (Covenants) will join Octus's Global Covenants team, based in the Bogotá office with remote work flexibility. This role supports the operational delivery of covenant analysis and data to Octus clients globally. The position is ideal for a recent graduate who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and interested in gaining exposure to financial services, legal documentation, and global credit markets while working with international teams. The associate will play an important role in coordinating client queries, managing internal workflows, and supporting the team's operational processes.
Key responsibilities include managing and tracking client queries related to covenant analysis, ensuring requests are properly logged and routed to the appropriate teams. The associate will monitor and follow up on the status of requests across multiple Octus teams to ensure timely responses. Maintaining accurate internal reporting and documentation related to client queries and workflow processes is essential. The role also involves ensuring strict adherence to compliance procedures related to confidential and private financial documents, coordinating with the commercial team to support high-quality client service, liaising with offshore data teams and colleagues in London and the US on workflow and operational initiatives, monitoring fixed income and credit market deal flow, and organizing related documentation. Additionally, the associate will support legal analysts, credit analysts, and journalists with operational and administrative tasks related to editorial content and data projects, and assist with operational projects and process improvements within the Covenants team.
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail. The ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both written and verbal, is required. An interest in financial services, legal documentation, or financial data is essential. The candidate should be a proactive and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with spreadsheets and managing data is preferred.
