Market Operations Specialist, Options
IEX is seeking a Market Operations Specialist to join its Market Operations team. This role involves working within a dynamic, high-pressure trading environment, focusing on the U.S. options market. The successful candidate will collaborate with various internal teams, including Technology Operations, Product Management, and Compliance, to ensure the smooth operation of IEX's trading systems.
Key responsibilities include executing and maintaining daily operational procedures, developing expertise with IEX systems and market functionality, and designing automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency. The specialist will also perform data analysis to troubleshoot client issues, manage risk, and participate in product development and business initiatives. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with industry participants to expand access and understanding of the IEX market.
Candidates should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, a keen interest in technology, and the ability to quickly acquire new concepts. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Python programming for automation tasks. Experience with data analysis tools such as Pandas for Python or SQL is also essential. The ability to obtain applicable certifications within 90 days of hiring is necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range between $85,000 and $110,000, with eligibility for bonuses and equity.
