Manager, Solutions Sales
AlphaSense is seeking a Manager of Solutions Sales to lead the US Financial Services pre-sales team. This role involves managing a team of approximately 12 Pre-Sales Consultants who collaborate with Account Executives to demonstrate the value of AlphaSense's AI-driven market intelligence platform. The company, headquartered in New York City, provides insights from a vast array of public and private content, including equity research, company filings, and expert calls.
The Manager of Solutions Sales will oversee the team in conducting product evaluations, leading demos, discovery calls, and tailored workshops to uncover and position value. Responsibilities include translating client challenges into compelling use cases, collaborating with support, sales, product, and content teams to close feedback loops, and maintaining a consultative, user-first mindset throughout evaluations.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in sales or client success, including a minimum of 2 years in direct people management overseeing teams of at least 7 client-facing professionals. A high aptitude for learning complex technical knowledge, superior interpersonal skills, effective time management, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-growing company are essential.
The base compensation for this role ranges from $135,000 to $150,000 annually, with potential performance-based bonuses, equity options, and a comprehensive benefits program.
