Manager, Sales Development
The Manager, Sales Development at Box will lead a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) responsible for qualifying marketing leads and generating new pipeline opportunities that contribute to the company's total revenue. This role is integral to the Commercial Sales team, which includes Sales Managers and Commercial Sales Executives, and focuses on initiating meaningful relationships with prospective customers.
Key responsibilities include hiring, training, and managing a team of SDRs, developing and executing career development plans, and fostering a high-performing culture through coaching and mentorship. The manager will also strategize with Commercial Account Executives and marketing counterparts on pipeline and prospecting initiatives, report on team performance to senior leadership, and optimize systems and processes through AI automation to improve team efficiency.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience managing sales professionals, with a preference for those who have a strong track record of quota attainment in both SDR/BDR and Account Executive roles. Proficiency in SDR tech stack tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, ZRA, Qualified, and 6Sense is essential. The role requires excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, as well as experience in managing or selling in the Enterprise SaaS sector.
Box offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $170,000 to $195,000 USD, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.
