Manager, Pre-Sales Consultant
AlphaSense is seeking a Manager, Pre-Sales Consultant to lead a team of approximately 12 Pre-Sales Consultants within the US Financial Services sector. This role is pivotal in driving new business by partnering with Account Executives to deliver seamless product evaluations and demonstrations. The successful candidate will play a key role in showcasing the value of AlphaSense's AI-powered market intelligence platform to prospective clients.
The Manager will be responsible for leading product demos, conducting discovery calls, and facilitating tailored workshops to uncover and position the platform's value. They will translate client challenges into compelling use cases, collaborate with cross-functional teams to close feedback loops, and influence product roadmap priorities. Maintaining a consultative, user-first mindset throughout every evaluation is essential to build trust and credibility with prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or client success, including at least 2 years of direct people management experience overseeing a team of at least 7 client-facing professionals. A high aptitude and willingness to learn complex technical knowledge on the job are necessary to support a diverse client base. Superior interpersonal skills, effective time management, and the ability to work autonomously within a fast-growing company are also required.
The position offers a base compensation range of $135,000 to $150,000 USD, with potential for performance-based bonuses, equity options, and a generous benefits program.
