Machine Learning Engineer
As a Machine Learning Engineer at Wayve, you will be at the forefront of developing AI-driven behaviors for autonomous vehicles. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and refining end-to-end driving models to achieve state-of-the-art performance, robustness, and generalization. You will lead projects focusing on personalized and collaborative driving behaviors, such as behavior conditioning and comfort tuning. Additionally, you will build evaluation pipelines and metrics to assess both closed-loop and open-loop driving performance, ensuring product readiness.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of deploying deep learning systems into production, with expertise in sequential models, control, planning, or perception. Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch are essential. A solid foundation in software engineering practices and experience with real-time systems or robotics, particularly those involving simulation or vehicle-in-the-loop components, are highly desirable.
