The Head of UK and EU Policy at Wayve will lead the company's policy and regulatory engagement strategy across the United Kingdom and Europe. Additionally, the Head of UK and EU Policy will advocate for regulatory frameworks that enable the safe development and deployment of autonomous vehicles, represent Wayve at government meetings and industry events, and monitor emerging regulatory developments affecting autonomous driving and AI technologies.
The ideal candidate will have approximately 10 years of experience in public policy, government affairs, or regulatory affairs, with significant senior-level experience across the UK and Europe. A deep understanding of the political and regulatory landscape within transport, mobility, automotive, AI, or emerging technology sectors is essential. The role demands strong communication and stakeholder management skills, technical literacy to collaborate effectively with engineering teams, and a proven track record of influencing policy and regulatory outcomes through direct engagement with relevant authorities.
