Litigation Paralegal

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a lead attorney and litigation assistant, providing comprehensive support throughout the litigation process. This position offers competitive compensation and a generous bonus plan.

As a Litigation Paralegal, your primary responsibilities will include preparing legal documents such as pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda. You will be responsible for e-filing court documents in both state and federal courts, conducting legal research and factual investigations, and preparing discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses. Additionally, you will coordinate and summarize depositions, prepare trial binders and exhibits, and assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.

The ideal candidate will possess an Associate’s Degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, with completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program preferred. A minimum of two years of experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services under an attorney in a law firm setting is required. Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, first-party, medical malpractice, or other injury-related practice areas is essential. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as attention to detail, are crucial.
