Lending Java Developer - Hong Kong
Galaxy is seeking a skilled Java Developer to join its Lending technology team in Hong Kong. This role focuses on developing the next generation of cryptocurrency lending systems within a company that is a global leader in digital assets and data center infrastructure. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain backend services for crypto lending and borrowing products. Key responsibilities include implementing core lending logic such as loan origination, collateral valuation, interest rate models, and risk management mechanisms. Additionally, the role involves building scalable APIs, integrating with blockchain networks and traditional financial systems, and collaborating with product, risk, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into robust systems.
Applicants should have over 10 years of relevant development experience, with excellent core Java skills. Proficiency in Spring and Kafka, experience in developing microservices, and capabilities in code optimization and profiling are essential. Additional qualifications include experience leading a team, development experience with order management and risk systems, knowledge of traditional financial products like options and futures, and familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and cryptocurrency products.
