Legal Transformation Analyst
The Legal Transformation Analyst role at Gilbert + Tobin is a full-time, permanent position based in Melbourne, Australia. The successful candidate will join the G+T Innovate team, a leader in legal innovation and the practical application of generative AI (GenAI) in legal services. This team drives the firm's program of legal productivity, positioning Gilbert + Tobin as a market leader in applying emerging technologies to legal service delivery.
In this role, the analyst will support AI engagements with internal teams and clients, assisting in identifying use cases and developing working prototypes and solutions. Responsibilities include working with lawyers, clients, and technologists to design, test, and deploy AI solutions across key legal workflows such as drafting, review, research, and knowledge management. The analyst will also contribute to the development of repeatable AI solutions, playbooks, and frameworks to support scalable deployment across the firm.
The ideal candidate will have experience or exposure to legal practice, legal operations, professional services, or transformation environments, with an interest in AI or legal technology initiatives. Technical proficiency with a strong understanding of legal technology ecosystems, data infrastructure, and AI-driven solutions, including GenAI, is essential. The ability to work effectively in fast-paced, iterative delivery environments and to translate user needs into practical solutions using AI is also required.
