Tyson & Mendes LLP, a nationally recognized trial firm specializing in civil litigation and insurance defense, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position offers the opportunity to support our attorneys in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.

In this role, you will be responsible for drafting and e-filing legal documents, managing case calendars, scheduling depositions and hearings, coordinating attorney travel arrangements, and assisting with trial preparation. Additionally, you will handle daily administrative tasks, document management, and file organization, ensuring all activities are conducted with professionalism and confidentiality.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation legal assistant, preferably in insurance defense or personal injury. A solid understanding of civil litigation procedures, including state, federal, and appellate court filings in California, is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment are also required.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including an hourly pay range of $38 to $46, depending on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate as needed.
