The Lead Product Manager, Groups Platform at Klaviyo will spearhead the strategy and execution of the company's segmentation platform, a critical component enabling personalized marketing efforts. This role is situated within the Data Infrastructure pillar, focusing on developing and maintaining the foundational audience systems that support Klaviyo's marketing capabilities. The position is based in Boston, MA.
Key responsibilities include defining and owning the product vision and roadmap for Klaviyo's segmentation platform, ensuring its performance, reliability, and scalability. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering teams to enhance system performance, including reducing segmentation latency and improving reliability. Additionally, the Lead Product Manager will evolve the expressiveness of segmentation to meet the needs of mid-market and enterprise customers, develop capabilities that help customers analyze and optimize their audiences, and introduce recommendations to guide effective segmentation strategies.
Candidates should have 7–10+ years of product management experience, particularly in building data platforms or technically complex systems. A strong technical background is essential, with the ability to work closely with engineers on system design and scalability. Experience with large-scale data systems, query systems, or real-time evaluation systems is highly desirable. The role also requires strong analytical skills, experience defining and managing system-level metrics, and excellent cross-functional communication abilities.
The base salary for this position ranges from $168,000 to $252,000 USD annually. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include participation in the company's annual cash bonus plan, equity, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits.
