IT Support Engineer
As an IT Support Engineer at Wayve, you will be a key member of our IT team, responsible for maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our employees across our Japan offices. This full-time, on-site role requires flexibility to support multiple locations as needed. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related issues, ensuring seamless operations in a fast-paced environment focused on autonomous vehicle development.
Your primary responsibilities will include providing timely support for laptops (Windows, macOS, Linux), mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage onboarding and off-boarding tasks, and assist in configuring and maintaining core business tools such as GSuite, Slack, and Jira. Additionally, you will support basic network troubleshooting and help manage meeting room A/V equipment.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of professional experience in IT support or systems administration, with familiarity in macOS. Strong communication skills, a service-oriented approach, and a willingness to learn in a rapidly evolving tech environment are essential. Exposure to identity platforms like Okta or Google Workspace, familiarity with ticketing systems, and fluency in both Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and English are required.
