Capital on Tap is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our Brighton office, providing technical assistance to users experiencing hardware and software issues. As part of our dynamic IT Services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our internal systems, contributing to our mission of simplifying financial services for small businesses.

In this role, you will be responsible for responding to user support requests through various channels, including in-person, service desk platforms, instant messaging, and video calls. Your duties will encompass troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and maintaining computer peripherals, upgrading operating systems and software, and managing user accounts across multiple platforms. Additionally, you will assist with office equipment setups, team relocations, and maintain the asset register.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a desktop or IT support engineer, with knowledge of operating systems such as Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Mac OS, as well as familiarity with Azure Active Directory, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Office 365, Intune, and Autopilot. Advanced knowledge of computer hardware systems, particularly Dell laptops and desktops, is preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and effective written and verbal communication are essential. Microsoft or IT-related certifications, such as ITIL or CompTIA, are advantageous.
