Galaxy is seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to oversee the insurance operations for its rapidly expanding data center portfolio. This role involves managing all insurance broker relationships and ensuring comprehensive coverage across all data center workflows. The Insurance Manager will collaborate with various departments, including construction, operations, finance, procurement, and legal, to identify and address coverage gaps and integrate risk-related procedures into vendor oversight frameworks.

Key responsibilities include managing all data center insurance policies from underwriting to claims management, drafting and negotiating insurance-related provisions in contracts, and serving as the internal point of contact for insurance queries. The role also involves liaising with brokers and underwriters, overseeing insurance coverage for data center equipment throughout its lifecycle, and driving cost optimization through strategic reviews. Additionally, the Insurance Manager will monitor vendor compliance with contractual insurance requirements and coordinate with procurement and logistics partners to verify insurance coverage for high-value equipment shipments.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in insurance management. Experience with major insurance carriers, managing broker relationships, and a strong understanding of various commercial insurance products are essential. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

Galaxy offers a competitive base salary ranging from $115,000 to $150,000, along with a discretionary bonus.
