Inside Sales Account Executive, Sydney
Square is seeking an Inside Sales Account Executive to join our dynamic Sales Team in Sydney. This role offers an opportunity to engage with small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across Australia, introducing them to Square's comprehensive ecosystem of products and services designed to facilitate business growth. In this position, you will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new clients. Your responsibilities will include generating leads through various channels such as cold calling, leveraging existing marketing leads, and obtaining referrals to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets. Maintaining high sales activity levels and consistently achieving call volume and pipeline objectives are key aspects of the role. Additionally, you'll adopt a consultative approach to understand and address the unique goals and challenges of our customers, tailoring pitches and demonstrations accordingly. Collaboration with Onboarding, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing teams will be essential to ensure our solutions align with market needs.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a closing sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. A genuine interest in supporting SMBs, coupled with a growth mindset and a commitment to continuous learning, is highly valued. Strong analytical skills to assess business opportunities, the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and excellent communication skills are essential. Proficiency in value-selling methodologies and the capability to adapt quickly to new situations are also important.
