Product Compliance Manager, Bitcoin & Digital Assets

Block is seeking a Product Compliance Manager to support its Bitcoin and Digital Assets initiatives. This role involves collaborating with product and platform teams to develop compliance programs that facilitate the growth of Square's payment platform across existing and new markets. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that compliance strategies align with the company's mission of economic empowerment.

Key responsibilities include advising product teams on compliance requirements, building tactical roadmaps in partnership with engineering and operations teams, and managing product launches within the compliance governance framework. The role also entails evaluating partnership requirements, staying updated on regulatory changes, and designing controls to mitigate compliance risks.

The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in the compliance industry, with expertise in AML, sanctions, payment regulations, and scheme rules. Experience in managing product launch projects, conducting product-level risk assessments, and building compliance programs is essential. Relevant industry certifications such as CAMS, CFE, CFCS, or CRCM are preferred.
