Capital on Tap is seeking a Head of Fraud Analytics to lead our Fraud Analytics team. This role involves overseeing the detection, measurement, and response to fraud across the entire customer lifecycle, from application to ongoing monitoring. The position is based in our London (Moorgate) office, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring three days per week on-site.

The Head of Fraud Analytics will own, monitor, and continually optimize fraud management strategies across multiple products. Responsibilities include assessing the performance of existing fraud rules, implementing improvements, identifying and onboarding innovative data sources to better predict risk, managing and developing a team of analysts, leading analytical work tied to product launches and customer experience improvements, and presenting findings and recommendations to the senior leadership team.

Candidates should have at least eight years of fraud experience, including direct experience in card fraud within a bank, card issuer, or fintech operating on the issuing side. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL (Python experience is a plus), exceptional problem-solving abilities, a track record of owning analytical problems end-to-end, experience managing analysts, clear communication skills, and a solid grasp of the UK fraud landscape are essential.
